Explore the oldest and largest continuously inhabited castle in the world, HM The Queen’s favourite weekend home
Visit the magnificent State Rooms, where banquets and royal ceremonies have been held for hundreds of years, and St George’s Chapel, royal wedding venue and burial place of many monarchs from King Henry VIII to King George VI. During winter months an additional five rooms, the Semi-State Rooms are open to visit.
Another royal favourite is Hampton Court Palace pairing well with Windsor for a full day tour. At Hampton Court Palace we see King Henry VIII's splendid Tudor Palace including its old kitchens, the Great Hall and a replica of the king's crown, before touring the 17th Century Baroque Palace built by Sir Christopher Wren for King William and Queen Mary. We can stroll through the glorious gardens that border the River Thames.
